Dear readers,
I request your prayers today.
Some of you may remember my post of November 2nd, "Kaleidoscope", about my dear sister-in-Christ Donna and her battle with cancer.
Donna is now at home with the Lord. She passed away a couple days ago. I would deeply value your prayers for her husband Scott and their two girls Rachel and Emily, who are middle school and elementary ages. Her husband's blog can be found here:

This writer has difficulty finding eloquent words today. I rest in the promises of our Lord and Savior:
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."--Matthew 5:8 NIV
Thank you for your prayers for Donna's family, and God bless you today.

Ah, Gwen. I'm so sorry. It's bitter sweet. She's home with the Lord no longer suffering; however, her family is here grieving for her.
I pray that her family will feel God's arms around them.
Bless you!
Gracious. I will pray. Same thing happened with a dear woman here over Christmas, leaving behind a sweet husband and two little boys. I will pray with my kids this morning about it.
Oh, I'm touched by this and so sad for her family and friends. Of course I'll pray.
Oh, Gwen...please accept my condolences. I will certainly pray for Donna's family.
Gwen,
Thank you for sharing with us Donna and her kaleidoscope. In Christ, she is our sister too.
Oh the joy to have finished a long race! What comfort can others have without the reassurance of life in Jesus Christ?
Lord, please give Scott, Rachel and Emily perfect comfort from Your heart. Please enable them to trust You to supply all their needs in the hours and days and years to come. Amen.
I am so sorry. I pray the Lord carry you and her family through this time as He is the only one who can.
